As part of Eco-Alianza's Visiting Scientist program, Ph.D. candidate Kara Pellowe will discuss her research on the biological processes of chocolate clams and the social impacts of Loreto's chocolate clam fishery. The bilingual program is free and open to the public, and will be presented Thursday, April 4, at 5:00 p.m. at Eco-Alianza's CenCoMA headquarters in the upstairs auditorium. Eco-Alianza resumes the very popular "Visiting Scientist" talks with the Loreto Community. The first edition of 2022, is a presentation of the book "Loreto, Mexico: Challenges for a Sustainable Future '', by Paul Ganster, Ph.D., author of numerous articles, chapters of books, and edited works related to the border region. The book is in English only and the presentation will be in Spanish.
