Eco-Alianza is pleased to announce the revised Management Program for the Bahia de Loreto National Park has been declared in the National register (Diario Oficial de la Federacion), becoming effective the day after its publication (April 23, 2019), abrogating the one published on November 11, 2002. Be A Hero

This eight-and-half-minute short film highlights the work of Eco-Alianza de Loreto, building an alliance to protect and preserve the waters off Loreto, México and all of the Sea of Cortez. Hosted and narrated by actress and conservationist Nora Salinas. Produced, written and edited by Michael Harris and Baby Wild Films, and featuring the cinematography of Mike Maniglia and Emmy Award-winning wildlife cinematographer Johnny Friday. Original music by Y La Bamba and Herzon.

Soundings March 2019

Anticipation is building for Eco-Alianza's second annual One Ocean Film Festival. In last month's Soundings we announced the four feature films we've planned for this year's two-night festival. In addition, we are pleased to announce that Friday night's line-up will begin with an introduction by director Eréndira Valle of La Paz, who will screen her 12-minute short film, Whale Sharks of La Paz. The documentary explores conservation efforts to protect these massive creatures in the southern part of our state.
